And So We Wait...

     Communication can be so difficult sometimes. Which is really unfortunate because it’s so important, especially when you’re trying to create a product. After trying to get in contact with the owner of the local business Textile Republic (the monogramming and personalizing Apple accessories website), all I can do now is wait for a reply. In the mean time, I am making more detailed sketches of the cases and learning how to use Google SketchUp to show the designs. I will hopefully be meeting with David on Thursday to decide whether it is a good idea to pursue my case idea or not before a lot of money becomes involved and to see if he has any other ideas that could make a unique case. The main issue is that there are so many cases out there already, it’s really hard to find a way to make one special and worth buying. There are so many case brands that are well known and cover the main types of cases that it’s difficult to figure out a way to stand out. If we all decide that it is not worth it to continue with my case, I will need to pivot (like most entrepreneurs) and find a different design or concept altogether, or try to find a different project.
